Dr. Manish Jain, MD
Dr. Jain grew up in the Metro Detroit area. He is a proud graduate of Farmington High School and went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. He then went on to medical school at Albany Medical College in Albany, NY. While in medical school he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He graduated medical school with the John Sampson Society award, which is given annually to the medical student with greatest achievement in obstetrics and gynecology. He then decided to return to Metro Detroit as a resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wayne State University/Hutzel Hospital.
Dr. Jain then moved on to Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center in Dearborn after finishing his residency. He was made Assistant Director of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program, Director of Research, and Director of Medical Student Education at the Oakwood Hospital Ob/Gyn Program. He also saw patients out of Oakwood Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates. Since then he has combined with two of his longstanding partners in creating Michigan Women’s Care – the premier Obstetrics and Gynecology practice in Western Wayne County.
His professional interests include care of the routine and complicated pregnancy, adolescent gynecology, minimally invasive surgery and procedures, and office based procedures.
On a personal note, Dr. Jain is married to the beautiful and talented Renee Page, MD. They hope to start a family soon, and adopt a dog. He enjoys traveling, snorkeling, photography, reading, and cooking. He also loves football, especially his Wolverines.
